Pacemaker awarded the Swedish Design Award

As one of ten, Pacemaker was awarded Sweden’s biggest design award at a ceremony in Stockholm the 10th of June. The award, which is given every second year, is focusing on successful design and creative solutions to problems. An exhibition with the contestants will travel around in Sweden and abroad until 2010. The Swedish Design Award was given to Tonium and No Picnic for design. The jury statement ends "An interface with a rubber-feel, "must-have" attraction and reasonable price give the Pacemaker potential to be a music technology bestseller." New Ericsson phone launched

Ericsson D4187, the fourth member of the Ericsson D4100 analogue phones series will be introduced during May/June 2006. D4187 is a further development of D4186, new is the Caller Id function (CID) and gone is the AC/AC power adaptor. D4187 has an automatic detection of FSK- and DTMF CID-protocols and will work on Ericsson PBXs and most public lines switches. Field trial period ended successfully in end of April. Approval for mass production start was given on April 29. First production lot is estimated to leave the factory in China by end of May.
